The Choice is Always Yours.    Be original.

I'm not a big fan of presentation slides with a lot of text.  ( the Short Pack )
I'm a huge believer in the maxim:  Less Is More

But if you do use text, make sure the words paint a picture.
Make sure they touch your audience and your message in an emotional way.

13-10-How do you see yourself

Don't be afraid to be creative and unconventional. Just remember, you must concretely tie the text and the picture it paints (or shows) to your message.

13-12-it is not the load

Keep in mind, that you can always give details, data, and supporting evidence during the Q & A if the audience requests it.  And you should make it a habit of givng them all the details, data and supporting evidence in a seperate slide deck ( the Long Pack ) that your audience can take with them.

The right words can help you tell a powerful story.  Sometimes, they can be the story.
